Booking is simple. Contact our team via WhatsApp, through our website, or by email, and we will handle the entire process for you to make the booking easy and smooth.

You can secure your flight ticket with an initial deposit of USD 200 only.
The remaining ticket balance is paid upon arrival in Socotra.

All visitors need a visa to enter Socotra, except citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. We take care of the visa process for you. You only need to give us a copy of your passport. The visa costs $150, and we apply for it one weeks before your trip.

For your Socotra trip, bring light clothes, sun protection, strong hiking shoes, a rain jacket, and personal items, because shops on the island are limited. We will give you a full packing list before you travel.

We use tents made for Socotra’s weather. They are waterproof and have good ventilation, so you will be comfortable in any conditions.

Each guest gets a double-sized tent with a mattress, blanket, and pillow. Couples can have a bigger tent to share.

Our team will set up the tent for you. Everything is ready when you arrive.

Our private chef cooks three meals a day with fresh high quality ingredients. You will enjoy local seafood, chicken, or goat with rice, pasta, and vegetables. We also provide snacks, water, and soft drinks.

Vegetarian, vegan, or special meals for allergies are available, just tell us your needs, and we will do our best to prepare them.

All our 4×4 cars have chargers and 12V to 220V inverters with UK plugs. You can charge your phone, camera, drone, or laptop while traveling. Bringing a power bank is also a good idea.

On some nights, we camp at sites with simple showers and toilets. We provide toilet paper, but you should bring your own toiletries, shampoo, and towel.

On other nights, we camp in remote nature. In these places, you use the outdoors as your bathroom and rivers or pools as your shower.

For group tours of three or more people, we bring a portable shower and toilet to make you more comfortable.

A drone permit is required. We arrange this together with your visa. We only need the drone model and the operator’s name. The official fee is $100, we prepare the permit for you without any additional charge.

In the UAE, drones are not allowed. At Abu Dhabi airport, tell immigration that your drone is only for Socotra. If you stay in Abu Dhabi before your flight, the airport will keep your drone safely for free. You can collect it when you check in for your Socotra flight.

You can buy an Etisalat tourist SIM at Abu Dhabi airport, but it works in only a few places on Socotra, and the internet is very slow. You can also buy a Yemenmobile SIM on the island, but it is only good for calls. Hotels in the main city have internet, but it is also slow.

To make your trip easier, we provide fast Starlink internet at camp. This way, you can stay connected when needed, while still enjoying the special experience of Socotra without too many distractions.

There are no ATMs and very limited banking in Socotra. Our trips include everything, so you won’t need money for daily expenses. If you want to buy souvenirs, bring cash in US dollars. The notes must be clean and in good condition, and should be from 2009, 2013, or 2017.

We always have a first aid kit, but you should bring your own personal medicines.  In case of emergency, there is a hospital in Hadiboh, the capital of Socotra.

Tour Cancellation

You can cancel your tour booking at any time before arriving in Socotra without providing a reason.

If the tour fee has already been paid, a full refund is provided before arrival, with transfer fees deducted.

If cancellation happens after arrival during the first day, a 25% cancellation fee applies.

If cancellation happens later, costs are calculated based on the number of days already used.

Flight Cancellation or Changes (Yemenia Flights)

You can change your flight date up to 5 days before departure with a $10 change fee per one-way ticket.

If you request a change within 5 days of departure, it may be treated as a No-Show, which leads to additional charges.

In case of flight cancellation or No-Show, 25% of the ticket value will be deducted as a cancellation fee.

If your original fare class is no longer available on the new date, you may need to pay the fare difference.

Visa Policy

Visa fees are non-refundable once the visa has been issued.
